For more than 24 years, this amazing woman has been my mother. She’s cut my cheese with a squirrel cookie cutter and put sprinkles in my yogurt to help me learn to not be a picky eater. She’s kept her patience when I thought I was a Power Ranger and pretended to do karate when I was mad at her. She’s been my cover when I secretly didn’t want to have a sleep over, or driven me and my friends to the movies on countless occasions. She’s hugged me when my heart felt broken, and laughed with me about a joke until we cried. She’s been there for birthdays, graduations, and my wedding. Even though I’m “grown up,” I’ll never stop needing my mother. Thanks for everything, Mom!
