With the temperatures rising, I’ve gotten busy in the kitchen creating cool treats. This snack is so ridiculously easy, and satisfying, that I’m sure we’ll be eating them often this summer.
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup oats
Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, honey, cinnamon, raisins (if you use raisins, you may wish to cut back on the amount of oats)
Put the almond butter in a pan and melt on the stove on the lowest heat. If you want to add the chocolate chips, melt them into the almond butter. Once melted, turn off heat and stir in oats and any add-ins that you’d like. Pour into a pan; I use a pan that pre-slices, similar to this. Alternatively, you could form into balls on wax-paper. Freeze. ENJOY!
